JANUARY 2026

It's the first month of the year! Our focus this month is on STILLNESS. Being still is a way of preparation. Everything we do doesn't have to be rushed or compared to be important. I used to view stillness as a negative thing, but I have learned there is beauty to it. In our stillness, God is preparing us, leading us, guiding us, etc. We also receive discipline, patience, and learn to trust the process and God's plan for our lives. There is no need to go into survival mode. All that we do in Christ serves a purpose. So, let's challenge ourselves not to rush but to learn to take a beat and enjoy every season we are in. Yes, in life we have obligations, responsibilities, deadlines, and more, but none of that matters if we're too focused on the result. There is an old saying I used to hear growing up that goes, \"It's not about the end, but it's how you get there\". Do we want to spend our days rushing through everything, or take our time in the process to learn, grow, develop, build relationships, and have a stable foundation versus a temporary satisfaction? Remember, our goal is to become the best versions of ourselves mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually with God. I LOVE YOU, SBCs, AND YOU GOT THIS!
